Glasgow schoolchildren perform adorable version of Jingle Bells in 'baby strings orchestra'

Children from a Glasgow primary school are lifting spirits with an adorable video of their musical skills.

Primary two to four schoolchildren in the "baby strings orchestra" at St Brigid's Primary School in Toryglen have been working hard to perform their special version of 'Jingle Bells'.

As if that wasn't enough, the school has created a video showing off the results of their hard work - and we think you'll agree the results are almost painfully cute.

A tweet from St Brigid's Primary School reads: "Ladies & Gentlemen - we present to you our baby strings orchestras from P2-P4 in their bubbles. So proud & delighted with the determination on these little faces! We are extending programme across the school in January."

Councillor Chris Cunningham, City Convener for Education, Skills and Early Years praised the children, describing them as "future stars in the making.

He said: “It’s so lovely to see the children so engaged in their music – future stars in the making!

“Last year more than 6,000 children and young people in our schools on a weekly basis benefitted from music tuition and all free to our pupils.”
