Glasgow's weather to brighten up with three days of sunshine and highs of 15C set for the weekend

If you haven't ventured out to grab the BBQ kit yet, you may want to before the weekend hits and everything sells out as it's set to be a scorcher.

Well, maybe not chilling on a beach in France 'scorcher' - but it beats the rain showers we've had in recent weeks.

According to weather forecasters, Glasgow is set to brighten up with temperatures reaching 15C on Saturday (March 19).

In addition to this, temperatures of 12C and 11C are both forecast on Sunday and Monday (March 21) respectively meaning we're in for three days of sunshine in a row.

From 7am on Saturday, the sun should come out for several hours lasting until 6pm.

It will then thankfully reappear - and not hide behind any clouds - on Sunday.

The clouds however will sadly be present on Monday though and just like the previous two days, it will be out from 7am until 6pm providing highs of 11C at around 1pm.

So what does the rest of the week look like?
