Glasgow's view on Donald Trump laid bare as protesters label president a 'fanny'

Us Glaswegians aren't a shy lot - and certainly when it comes to voicing our opinions on Donald Trump.

So the US president arriving in the UK for his latest state visit was always going to spark somewhat of a reaction in our city.

We may have seen it all before - 'President Bawbag' previously attracted considerable worldwide attention - but that hasn't stopped a hardy bunch of Glasgow protesters from hurling further insults at the deeply divisive Donald.

And as the demonstrators appeared at the top of Buchanan Street yesterday, the no holds barred signs quickly rose, the most straight to the point of which simply read 'Fanny'.

Meanwhile, on account of the president's meeting with the Royal Family, a couple of anti-Trump gatherers called for him to be 'fed to the corgis', 'poxy moron' also got an airing.

And while Donald Trump will not be appearing in Scotland this time round, protests are set to continue across the country with the president due to arrive in Ireland later today.

Rest assured when he does return to our country, or even hints at a trip to Glasgow, he'll certainly be very warmly received ...
