Glasgow's ultimate photo opportunity arrives with new Rogue-One pint glass mural

Few cities across the globe can hold a candle to Glasgow when it comes to our incredible street art, with our award-winning City Centre Mural Trail one of the biggest wow factors folk encounter when they pay us a visit.

Thanks to recent additions such as the host of brand new murals in Shawlands that have added a touch of colour to the southside and the Shuggie Bain inspired work on the side of the Barrowland Ballroom, there's even more amazing art to explore and soak up.

Speaking of being soaked, a brilliant new mural has popped up behind the Viceroy Bar on Paisley Road West, allowing folk to get swallowed up...by a pint glass no less.

The latest work by local street art legend Bobby McNamara aka Rogue-One (or Rogue Oner) depicts a woman clutching a pint glass upside down as if to trap a wee beastie, and gives off similar vibes to Smug's huge 'Honey...I shrunk the kids' mural on Mitchell Street in allowing for us to look like we are knee-high to a grasshopper in a pic.

We might be biased as dyed-in-the-wool devotees of Rogue-One's work, but we think that this has to be Glasgow's newest and best photo opportunity, wrestling first prize off spots like the Cloisters at Glasgow Uni or that amazingly colourful wee southside street.

And what's even better is that its located in a beer garden, so you can sink a few pints before being trapped in one!
