Here's some news that plenty of caffeine fiends in Glasgow will no doubt welcome - that the city's 'secret' coffee house will soon swing open its doors to the general public.
Back in November we were given a special sneak peek inside The Ottoman Coffee House, hidden behind the elegant and ornate windowed facade of the former Shah Noor Indian restaurant in Berkeley Street near the Mitchell Library in Anderston.
A place that, looking at the interior photos, seemed to transport us to a back street in Constantinople-era Istanbul where the aroma of Turkish coffee fills the air.
And with the owners then telling us that they would eventually open to the public as a (vibrant) local community coffee house having only been used for private events such as coffee mornings - they will come good on their promise.
The Ottoman Coffee House are looking to open early February, with a provisional date of Monday, February 17 pencilled in by the owners as a date to welcome in the public.
And they promise that, once open, the coffee house will offer people the chance to "have morning coffee or afternoon tea, read the papers, seek solace in their meditation room or unwind in the lounge".
