Glasgow’s new Click and Collect Greggs means you won’t have to queue for your steak bake

A city centre Greggs shops has reopened as a Click and Collect service.

The George Street store will now allow people to pick up steak bakes, sausage rolls and more without having to queue.

All customers need to do is select the shop of choice and a time slot, choose their items from the  reduced menu  and pay online. Greggs will then send an email when the order is ready for collection.

Once customers arrive at the shop for collection, Greggs’ new operational measures will be implemented to help keep customers and colleagues safe. These include only one adult permitted instore to collect an order - though children can accompany parents - and the introduction of floor markings to ensure social distance is maintained.

As well as being a Click and Collect shop, Greggs can also be ordered via Just Eat, which is also taking deliveries from Greggs’ George Street location.

A Greggs spokesperson said: “We’re thrilled to introduce our Click and Collect service in Glasgow and along with the other shops we’ve reopened across the country and our partnership with Just Eat, we’re pleased to help bring a little taste of normal back to our local communities.
