Glasgow's most expensive streets as postcodes with highest value homes analysed

Glasgow's most expensive streets have been revealed, with data pinpointing which city neighbourhoods have the highest property values.

Research compiled by property listing website Zoopa estimates the 'highest value' streets that fall under a Glasgow postcode.

Glasgow's top 10 most expensive streets all have an average house price of over £1million according to the information, at a time when house prices have grown substantially in the city during the pandemic.

At the end of September, Zoopla shared data which shows the average home in the UK has increased in value by £44 per day in the past six months alone.

In Scotland, average house prices have increased 5.4% from August 2020 to August 2021.

And Giffnock's Elphinstone Road has been found to be the most expensive street with a Glasgow postcode, with the average value for a property estimated to be a staggering £1,416,004.

In fact, six different streets in the G46 area, including Elphinstone Road, make it into the top 10.

Meanwhile, Frederick Boulevard in Thorntonhall finds itself in fourth position, with an average house value of £1,177,531.

Milngavie also makes an appearance, with G62's Craigmillar Avenue featuring, where the average value of a property on the street is calculated at £1,125,573.

Closer to the centre of Glasgow, Bellahouston's Sherbrook Avenue comes in ninth position with an average of £1,095,087.

  2. Methven Road, Glasgow G46 - £1,333,199
  3. Roddinghead Road, Glasgow G46 - £1,210,693
  4. Frederick Boulevard, Glasgow G74 - £1,177,531
  5. Lethington Road, Glasgow G46 - £1,163,935
  6. Craigmillar Avenue, Glasgow G62 - £1,125,573
  7. Countess Gate, Glasgow G71 - £1,113,091
  8. The Loaning, Glasgow G46 - £1,100,391
  9. Sherbrooke Avenue, Glasgow G41 - £1,095,087
  10. Erskine Road, Glasgow G46 - £1,060,758

Meanwhile, Zoopla found G61, covering Bearsden, G77, which includes Newton Mearns and G63, which takes in part of Loch Lomond, to be the priciest Glasgow postcode areas in terms of property values.
