The finalists have been unveiled for this year's Food Awards Scotland, which 'celebrates the best in the food industry; from the excellent restaurants, chefs and servers, to the specialists and suppliers'.
A number of Glasgow food and drink spots have been nominated for this year's edition, with the winners set to be crowned at a black-tie ceremony taking place at Glasgow's Marriott Hotel on September 19.
One of the categories is the Best Fish N’ Chips Establishment, which is divided out across different regions in Scotland.

And two Glasgow chippies find themselves shortlisted for the top prize.
First up is southside stalwart Salt & Vinegar. The Shawlands restaurant has been a huge hit since opening back in 2017 and we've featured it on Glasgow Live a number of times on account of its fresh seafood and delicious fish suppers.
And the second Glasgow finalist is somewhat of a city institution, the Merchant Chippie on High Street, a place often found in the best chippy round-ups - we previously reported on it being named one of the very best in the whole of the UK.
Congratulations to both our Glasgow nominees, who deservedly find their names on the list!
