A Glasgow sandwich shop has "partially collapsed", leading to the closure of a major road.
The incident happened at a roll shop on Polmadie Road near the M74 with the street cordoned off and traffic reportedly queuing in the area. Police raced to the scene, at its junction with Hamilton Street, at around 1.30pm on Friday June 9 following reports of an "unsafe" building.
The building has now been taped off and diversions have been put in place with Glasgow City Council understood to have been made aware of the ongoing incident. Nobody is believed to have been injured.
A motorist described the traffic as "chaotic".
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 1.30pm on Friday, 9 June, police were called to a report of an unsafe building on Polmadie Road at Hamilton Street.

“No one was injured however police are in attendance and the building has been cordoned off with diversions being put in place.
“The local council’s building control has been contacted.”
A spokesman for Glasgow City Council said: "Officers from the council’s Building Standards team have been in attendance to assist in the response to what is a partial collapse of a rolls shop (selling burgers, etc) in Polmadie - heras fencing is being put around the building with the footpath there closed.
"I understand that the building owner is in contact with his insurer about instructing an engineer to carry out necessary works on the property."
