Officers at British Transport Police (BTP) in the west of Scotland are behind the witness appeal.

They took to social media to ask anyone who was travelling on the Glasgow-bound service and who may have seen the man to get in touch with them by texting 61016 quoting ref 560 of July 19, 2022.

Meanwhile, BTP have also launched another appeal for witnesses after a brawl onboard a train travelling between Glasgow Central and Anderston left two men bloodied after they traded multiple punches.
