Glasgow Orange Walks: Ongoing police incident forces road closure in Tradeston area

An. ongoing police incident in the Tradeston area has forced the closure of Kingston Street.

Glasgow City Council's traffic management team (TRAFFCOM) have released a bulletin confirming the street closure, with drivers being advised to find an alternative route.

Reports online suggest there are a large number of ambulances at the scene.

It reads: "Kingston Street is currently closed to all traffic at its junction with West Street due to an ongoing police incident. Road users should consider alternate routes if possible."

A further update has confirmed that the closure has been extended to Paisley Road.

The update reads: "Due to the lack of a suitable diversion route police have decided to extend the closure below so that Paisley Road(A8) is now completely closed to all eastbound traffic at Seaward Street."

UPDATE - All roads below are fully open to traffic.
