Glasgow favourite Paesano to reopen West End restaurant for takeaway

One of Glasgow's most popular pizza restaurants has announced that it will be reopening for takeaway.

Paesano has finally given fans what they've been waiting for since the lockdown began.

The company will be opening their restaurant on Great Western Road from Friday at 12pm for takeaway service only.

Posting on social media, the restaurant said: "Get ready to satisfy those pizza cravings.

"Rest assured the pizzas are still looking mighty fine!"

Paesano announced on March 21 that they would be closing following the lockdown announcement.

Their previously made plans for home deliveries and takeaway were scrapped to ensure the safety of their staff.

In the weeks since, they've been teasing their customers with pictures of their signature wood fired sourdough pizzas.

As previously reported by Glasgow Live, one family were so desperate to get a bit of Paesano back in their lives that they recreated their own restaurant at home.

We can't wait to taste that Paesano goodness once again.
