Glasgow Come Dine with Me winner who had sex with boy avoids jail after threatening love rival

A Glasgow winner of hit show Come Dine with Me has avoided prison for the second time after making threats to a former lover's ex again.

Lucy Haughey made headlines in 2017 for sleeping with a 15-year-old boy and she is now banned from contacting Sharon Low for the next decade after posting a video on social media which included abusive comments.

The mum-of-three, from the south side of the city, had originally been convicted in 2017 of stalking and abusing the social worker and was given community service, writes the Daily Record.

After the non-harassment order came to an end the 42-year-old posted the video which landed her back in court this week, where she was handed community service.

At Dumbarton Sheriff Court, Sheriff Frances McCartney warned Haughey: “If you break any parts of this order you are likely to be sent to prison.”
