Glasgow club night enlists support of top producers for new charity compilation

A Glasgow club non-for-profit night has enlisted the support of some of Scotland's best underground talent to produce tracks for a new charity compilation.

Mind Yer Self has released the 8-track compilation to raise funds for Helping Musicians Scotland, who have been instrumental in supporting the creative community practically, financially and emotionally amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Among those who produced the tracks during the lockdown include Harri, OOFT, Rebecca Vasmant and We Should Hang Out More and Manakinz.

Mind Yer Self has to date raised over £6,500 for charities in Scotland, bringing DJs such as Earl Jeffers, O'Flynn, Maurice Fulton, Donna Leake and DMX Krew to Glasgow.

Half of the compilation profits will go to Helping Musicians Scotland, with the other 50% split evenly among all the artists, to help them re-coup some of the finances they have lost through cancelled gigs.
