Grunting Growler is hosting their first annual hotdog eating contest to celebrate American independence day.
The craft beer bar and shop intends to settle the debate tomorrow, 2nd July, over who is better - Americans or the British.
The bar, situated on Old Dumbarton Road, has a large variety of craft beers which will be on offer during the contest to either celebrate your win or drown your sorrows. With a selection of over 200 cans and bottles, six rotating draught lines and some cocktails and spirits, there's something for everyone.

The contest begins at 6pm but if you're feeling extra lucky, get to the venue for 4pm for the chance to win a selection of American hype beer at their Great All American Pub Quiz.
The owner of Grunting Growler, Jehad, opened the business while he was recovering from cancer treatment. Born in America to a Scottish mother, he moved to Scotland to finish his degree and ended up staying and eventually opened Grunting Growler.
