Clocking in at just 92 kilometres, stage 2 of the 2025 Giro d'Italia Women takes riders from Clusone to the ski town of Aprica with a long, gradual ascent to the finish.

The climb, which averages under 3% over the final 22 kilometres, isn't terribly hard but can be made much tougher depending on how aggressively the riders are.

There will be motivation for the climbers to try to distance race leader Marlen Reusser (Movistar Team), especially SD Worx-Protime who have Lotte Kopecky and Anna van der Breggen in shouting distance of the race leader.

There are no categorised climbs along the route from Clusone to Aprica, but an intermediate sprint in Malonno at kilometre 69.4 gives the fast women a chance to add to their point tally before they hand the reins to the climbers for the long drag to the finish line.
