The girls crashed into a truck
(Picture: West Valley City Police Department)Two girls stole their parents car in Utah in an attempt to drive to California and "swim with dolphins" - before crashing into a truck.
The sisters, aged nine and four collided with the truck after driving for ten miles from their home in West Jordan, Utah, the Salt Lake Tribune reported.
A witness described their car has missing "the whole front end".
The children were wearing seatbelts and were unharmed.

Detective Scott List of West Jordan police said: “They talked about going to California to swim with dolphins and go to the beach and they woke up at 3 in the morning.
“The parents were horrified and very shocked to find their kids were gone."
A school bus driver who witnessed the aftermath of the collision said that she was shocked to discover that the drivers of the car were children.
“First thing I did was look for the parents,” Danielle LeBlanc said.
“Then I saw the car and the whole front end was gone and I was like, ‘Oh no!’ And then I looked over again and I saw two little girls in the front seat.
“I was pretty shocked,” LeBlanc reportedly remarked. “I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh – if my kids did that, holy cow, that’s insane.’ I don’t know what I would do or emotions I would go through.”
