Police are investigating after the death of a two-year-old in a house in Falkirk, Scotland.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said the death is being treated as "unexplained" as they await the results of a post mortem.
Officers were called to an address in the Redding area at around 10.25am on Thursday, July 2, following a report of a toddler becoming unwell.
Paramedics also attended the scene, but the little girl was pronounced dead a short time later, according to the Daily Record.
Forensic officers have conducted searches of the family home and are now awaiting the results of a post mortem.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 10.25am on Thursday, 2 July, officers were called to an address in Ward Avenue, Redding, Falkirk, following a report of a 2-year-old girl becoming unwell.
“The Scottish Ambulance Service attended and the child was pronounced dead a short time later.
“Enquiries are ongoing and the death is currently being treated as unexplained pending a post mortem.”
Earlier this week, Police Scotland confirmed a three-year-old boy had died, after a car mounted the pavement and crashed into a shop in Edinburgh.
A 37-year-old woman, believed to be the boy's mother, was also injured in the incident and was taken to hospital where she was being treated.

The statement from the force said the collision involved a red Kia motor car and two pedestrians.
