Girl, 17, missing for 11 days as police say they are 'increasingly concerned'

A teenage girl, who has been missing for 11 days, has sparked concern among police who say they are increasingly concerned about her.

Mia Powell, 17, has been missing  from her home in Southport.

She was last seen at around 7.30pm on Friday, October 18, in Formby.

Mia is described as white, around 5ft 5in tall, of slim build, with straight blonde shoulder-length hair.

Police say when she was last seen, Mia was wearing a blue top, dark trousers with black flip-flops and dark socks.

She was last seen on Victoria Road, Formby (Google)

A spokeswoman said: "She is known to frequent trains and stations, particularly Southport, Hunts Cross and Liverpool city centre.

"We are becoming increasingly concerned for Mia’s whereabouts and anyone who has seen her, or has any information is asked to contact @MerPolCC, 101 or @missingpeople on 116 000."
