Girl, 17, dies at UK festival headlined by Wolf Alice and Scissor Sisters

A 17-year-old girl died after suffering a “medical episode” at the Kendal Calling festival in the Lake District.
The incident occurred just after 2am on Sunday at the Lowther Deer Park site, where the festival was headlined by Wolf Alice and Scissor Sisters.
Cumbria Constabulary is investigating the circumstances of her death and is providing support to her family.
Police are appealing for witnesses, particularly those near the Calling Out tent and Big Wheel around 2am, and a group of women who directed emergency personnel to the girl.
Festival organisers expressed their deep sadness, confirming that on-site security and medical teams provided immediate emergency care.
