Giorgos Giakoumakis insists he's ready to prove himself at the club and play in front of the 'best fans'.
The Greek striker joined the Hoops on a five-year deal from VVV Venlo and will come in as a replacement for Odsonne Edouard, with the Frenchman set to join Crystal Palace.
And he can't wait to get going for the Hoops and is thrilled that Celtic gaffer Ange Postecoglou wanted to bring him to Celtic Park this summer.
Werder Bremen were also in for him but Celtic managed to get the deal done for a striker who finished as top scorer in Eredivisie last season.
He netted an incredible 29 goals in 33 games in all competitions last season and is now looking to do the same at Celtic.
He said: “I’m really delighted to commit my long term future to Celtic and I can’t wait to get started with my new team mates.
“Celtic is one of the world’s great football clubs with the best fans around. It is a club I have admired for so long and it will now be an honour to wear this famous jersey.
"To know that the manager wanted me so much to join Celtic is really humbling and it makes me know I have made the right choice.”
