Brooklyn Beckham has sent celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo a bottle of his Cloud23 hot sauce, which the Italian TV personality praised on social media despite ongoing controversy surrounding his career.
D’Acampo, 49, shared a video with fans in which he sampled the £15 condiment while tucking into a burger cooked in his own-brand outdoor oven. Filmed against a backdrop of a pool and mountains, the chef declared: “Cloud23 burger – this is the best burger you will ever taste.”
He captioned the clip: “This is not just a burger… this is a @cloud23 spicy burger, something you must try! Grazie @brooklynpeltzbeckham for the kind gift, fantastico sauce…”
Turning directly to the eldest Beckham sibling, he added: “Brooklyn, bravo, this is a very good habanero hot sauce, I like it, the real thing, grazie.”
The gift comes months after D’Acampo was accused by former colleagues of bullying and making sexually inappropriate comments. The chef has “firmly denied” the allegations, describing them as “deeply upsetting.” ITV quietly dropped him from its line-up in February following the claims.
Best known for appearances on This Morning and Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip with Gordon Ramsay and Fred Sirieix, D’Acampo has since relocated to Australia, where he is planning two new restaurants and a culinary tech venture.
A spokesperson told The Sun that he “loves Australia a lot — the people, culture, cleanliness and environment,” while insiders suggested he had been “inundated” with offers after a recent tour.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn, 26, and wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, 30, have faced their own headlines amid reports of ongoing tension with his famous family. The pair renewed their vows in a ceremony officiated by Nicola’s billionaire father Nelson Peltz, but David and Victoria Beckham were notably absent.
Speculation of a rift between the families has persisted since the couple married in 2022, with their absence from David’s lavish 50th birthday celebrations earlier this year fuelling further rumours.
Despite the turbulence, Brooklyn has continued to promote his Cloud23 range, which has become a popular brand in the US, and appears to still attract celebrity fans — with D’Acampo the latest to offer his endorsement.
