Giants vs. Seahawks: NFL experts make Week 4 picks

The New York Giants (1-2) will host the Seattle Seahawks (2-1) at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Monday night.

Opening the week, the Giants were listed as 1.5-point home underdogs but the spread has bounced around quite a bit since then. As of this writing, the Giants are now 1-point favorites.

Let’s take a look at who some of the experts and insiders around the league are taking in the Week 4 matchup:

Expert Pick Score (if applicable)
Dan Graziano (ESPN) Seahawks N/A
Matt Bowen (ESPN) Seahawks N/A
Seth Wickersham (ESPN) Seahawks N/A
Pete Prisco (CBS) Giants 30-26
John Breech (CBS) Seahawks 31-24
Jordan Dajani (CBS) Seahawks 27-20
Nate Davis (USA TODAY) Seahawks 27-20
Lorenzo Reyes (USA TODAY) Seahawks 29-21
Bill Bender (Sporting News) Seahawks  24-21
Vinnie Iyer (Sporting News) Seahawks  27-24

The experts are overwhelming going with Seattle this week despite the Vegas odds. If there is a silver lining, it’s that all expect a one-score game, meaning the Giants keep pace and fall short at the end.

The above panel does not represent the overall pick community, however. Although still skewed towards the Seahawks, 22 percent of all experts on NFL Pickwatch think the Giants will come away victorious.

Fans are slightly less optimistic, picking New York to win 21 percent of the time.
