Giants vs. Redskins: NFL experts make Week 4 picks

The New York Giants (1-2) will host the Washington Redskins (0-3) at MetLife Stadium on Sunday afternoon in the fourth game of the season for each team.

Opening the week, the Giants were listed as 3-point home favorites and little has changed in that regard as we enter the weekend. With one day until kickoff, Big Blue remain slight favorites (-2.5).

Let’s take a look at who some of the experts and insiders around the league are taking in the Week 4 matchup:

Expert Pick Score (if applicable)
Mike Golic (ESPN) Giants N/A
Louis Riddick (ESPN) Giants N/A
Trey Wingo (ESPN) Giants N/A
Pete Prisco (CBS) Redskins 31-30
Jason La Canfora (CBS) Giants N/A
Ryan Wilson (CBS) Redskins N/A
Nate Davis (USA TODAY) Redskins 23-20
Lorenzo Reyes (USA TODAY) Giants 25-20
Tadd Haislop (Sporting News)  Giants  17-14
Vinnie Iyer (Sporting News)  Giants  27-23

After securing their first win of the season a week ago, the Giants seem to have found a little momentum in terms of selling the experts on their potential.

With Daniel Jones under center for Big Blue and the Redskins spiraling, many of the experts felt comfortable picking the Giants this weekend. However, the disparity was interesting. Most at ESPN, USA TODAY and The Sporting News took New York, but those at CBS Sports seemed to lean much more heavily toward Washington.

As far as scores, most view the game as another potential nail-biter. But it’s worth noting that Tadd Haislop of The Sporting News somehow sees this was shaking out at 17-14, which seems wildly low-scoring for teams that give up so many points.

What say you, Giants fans? How do you see this one shaking out?
