Giants sign former Eagles CB Michael Jacquet

Philadelphia agreed to a deal with former Giants cornerback James Bradberry on Wednesday, and with New York in need of depth at cornerback, the team signed a former Eagles cornerback to the roster.

Ralph Vacchiano is reporting that the Giants signed former Philadelphia cornerback Michael Jacquet to the roster after waiving defensive tackle Antonio Valentino.

The 25-year-old Jacquet originally signed with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana in 2020.

In eight career games (two starts with the Eagles), Jacquet logged 18 tackles and earned a PFF grade of 60.0 in 2021 and a PFF grade of 46.2 as a rookie in 2020.
