Giant land art project urges UK PM Andy Burnham to restore aid

Drone footage shows a giant portrait of UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham covering farmland in northern England.

The large-scale artwork bears the message: '5.1 million more deaths by 2030. People can't wait. Reinstate humanitarian aid now.'

The installation was created by arts organisation Sand In Your Eye in partnership with the charity Concern Worldwide. Designed to be seen from the air, the artwork aims to draw attention to cuts to humanitarian aid and encourage the government to restore funding.

By placing the message across farmland, the organisers hope the image will bring renewed attention to the issue as the new British government sets its priorities.
