The Reds won their eighth FA Cup thanks to a penalty shootout victory over Chelsea. The tie finished goalless after extra time, with Liverpool stepping up to win the cup.
Kostas Tsimikas scored the winning penalty in the shootout, capitalising on a save from Alisson Becker from Mason Mount. However, there were some shadows cast over the victory, with injuries to Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk during the final.
