If you’ve been eyeing a side-by-side but couldn’t quite justify the price tag, this fall might be your moment. Kawasaki and Polaris are both holding more inventory than they’d like, and that spells big-time deals for buyers. Whether you want a utility rig to tackle chores around the property or a sporty machine to blast down desert trails, there are some serious bargains on the table right now.
The reason behind all this is simple business math. Manufacturers often build aggressively to stay ahead of demand, and dealers load up expecting steady sales. When the market doesn’t gobble up that stock as fast as expected, it has to move. Especially with 2026 models already headed to showrooms.
So while the industry might see this as a misstep in forecasting, for buyers it’s the best kind of problem: too many UTVs and not enough garages.

Kawasaki’s deals start with the Ridge, its newest utility-focused platform. Think of it as a workhorse wrapped in comfort, equally at home towing gear across a ranch as it is taking the family on a trail ride. The Ranch Edition keeps it simple and job-ready, while trims like the HVAC and Limited HVAC bring enclosed cabs, heat, and air conditioning—luxuries that make long days outdoors a whole lot easier. The XR and Crew versions stretch the lineup with more seats and more versatility, meaning there’s a Ridge to suit just about any use case. Right now, you’re looking at savings between $1,000 and $3,500, with the biggest discounts on those older HVAC-equipped models.

On the sportier side, Kawasaki’s Teryx family is also heavily marked down. The two-seat Teryx and four-seat Teryx4 are the brand’s long-running trail machines—reliable, approachable, and ready to play in the woods all weekend. Discounts here range up to $1,250, which takes a good chunk off an already solid value. But the real eye-catchers are the Teryx KRX 1000 and KRX4 1000 models. These are Kawasaki’s heavy hitters, with long-travel suspension, beefy frames, and enough ground clearance to conquer rocks, dunes, and just about any desert challenge.
Normally you’d have to pay top dollar for that kind of performance, but with $2,000 off most KRX trims—including special editions like the Blackout and Lifted—you’re getting race-inspired capability without race-spec pricing.

Polaris is tackling things from a different angle with its Factory Authorized Clearance, but the intent is the same: clear the lots before year’s end. The General sits at the heart of its lineup, a crossover between work and play, with enough utility to haul and enough suspension travel to keep weekend rides exhilarating. Then there’s the RZR, a name practically synonymous with high-performance side-by-sides, offering blistering speed and handling for those who want their adrenaline in overdrive. Even the Sportsman ATV range is folded into the mix, giving buyers plenty of ways to save.
Where Polaris really stands out is in the breadth of its incentives. Beyond straight discounts (which hit as high as $4,000 on some General models) they’re offering financing as low as 0.99% for 36 months, extended warranties on select vehicles, and fleet program perks that lop another $1,750 off for qualifying buyers. And they’re sweetening the pot with extras: 20% off parts, apparel, and garage gear, plus $50 off dealer services over $250.

Officially, Polaris' promo is only until September 30, so it may or may not be over by the time you're reading this. But as is usually the case, promos like this tend to be extended until supplies last. So fingers crossed for that.
So yeah, maybe the industry missed the mark on moving 2024 and 2025 stock as quickly as it hoped. But that’s not your problem. If you’ve been daydreaming about putting a UTV in your garage, the timing doesn’t get much better than this. Kawasaki’s Ridge and Teryx models offer serious work and play capability with money left in your pocket, while Polaris is practically daring you to say no with discounts and incentives stacked high.
This is selling season in the truest sense. And it’s your chance to bring home a machine built to work hard, play harder, and turn every trail into your backyard.
