An Amazon driver issued a PSA to customers everywhere that can make both shoppers’ and delivery drivers’ lives easier. In a viral TikTok, Jessie (@lillee777) revealed the one thing that can make the world of a difference for your driver.
The clip begins with Jessie filming a tall package box beside a customer’s gate. “Why can’t every house that has these long driveways about a mile long get one of these right here?” the TikToker asks.
He shows that the box has signs for Amazon, FedEx, UPS, and USPS. The driver lifts up the top and demonstrates how once the package is slipped in, it slides down to the bottom portion, which is securely fastened with a lock. “Ain’t nobody gonna steal it.”
“Y’all customers need to hop on board with this right here,” he continues. “And they tell us we can’t drive down your driveway, we gotta walk. Get one of those.”
The package box Jessie shows in the clip appears to be a Keter delivery storage compartment that will set you back about $130, according to an Amazon listing. His clip earned over 846,000 views as of writing.
A day in the life of an Amazon driver
Several viewers commiserated with Jessie’s point that customers often refuse to let the Amazon workers drive down the driveway. It is unclear why that is, but regardless, it appears to be a pet peeve for drivers.
“Every time I see don’t drive down driveway, I leave it at the end where they want me to stop at,” one viewer commented. “That’s a safety issue for me to be far away from.my vehicle. Sorry.”
Another chastised those types of customers: “People say you can’t drive down their driveways yet order a door-to-door delivery service.”
In a viral clip from February, one Amazon driver could not believe the audacity of a customer. Her driving instructions requested her to stay off the driveway, yet when she pulled up, she noticed the house was at the end of an extremely long driveway. “How am I supposed to walk all the way over there?” TikToker Ashley said.

There’s another reason Amazon drivers are also forced to leave the package out in the open instead of somewhere like a mailbox. According to the law, mailboxes are exclusively for the United States Postal Service. Amazon drivers have even shared PSAs about customers specifically requesting them to leave packages at their mailboxes. In short? It’s a federal offense if they complied. Hence why these package boxes, like in Jessie’s clip, appear to be getting more popular.
