Gerry Cinnamon left 'in tears' after playing 'emotional' gig in Birmingham

Gerry Cinammon ended up in tears after he played the latest of his UK dates in Birmingham.

The Scots singer had been playing resorts World Arena in Birmingham when he admitted he got emotional.

Gerry who has plated venues like Newcastle, Leeds, Reading and Belfast in recent weeks is playing Alexander Palace this week too.

He told fans after his Birmingham set: "Birmingham that was bouncing. Full voice. Full throttle."

"Got a wee bit emotional at times. Eyes wet.

"Hope u all had a class night and got home safe. Ally Pally tomorrow. Cmon."

Gerry's Birmingham gig had initially been scheduled for June 11 but was postponed as a result of Covid regulations.

Amongst the fans who watched him play the emotional gig were Scots lottery winner Jane Park who also showed off her new ginger head of hair.

Gerry is now scheduled to play to a homecrowd in Scotland in July when he plays Glasgow's Hampden Park.
