German outfit to sign Swansea City winger Kristoffer Peterson

Kristoffer Peterson is set to join Fortuna Dusseldorf on a permanent deal from Swansea City.

The winger moved to Swansea from Heracles in 2019 but was loaned out to Dutch side Utrecht midway through the 2019/20 campaign.

He returned to South Wales in the summer and featured in the Swans' 2-0 Carabao Cup first round defeat to Newport County at Rodney Parade.

However, he has not featured for Steve Cooper's side in the Championship this term.

And the Swedish attacker is now destined to complete a permanent move away from the Liberty Stadium in a deal believed to be worth £400,000 plus add-ons.

Peterson will leave Swansea having made just 12 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring one goal.
