Georgia football: Twitter reacts to CFP rankings

The College Football Playoff Committee released their latest rankings after rivalry weekend. They’re weren’t too many surprises at the top outside of the Alabama Crimson Tide falling all the way to number twelve. Alabama fans were upset, but the rest of college football is reveling in the moment: Alabama is outside the top ten for the first time in a while. They’re also behind Auburn.

The CFP top six was as follows:

1. Ohio State
2. LSU
3. Clemson
4. UGA
5. Utah
6. Oklahoma

Following its loss to Auburn, Alabama falls to No. 12 in the College Football Playoff rankings.

Based on today's #CFBPlayoff rankings, if the favorites win this weekend (all are favored by 6.5 or more), we might be looking at:
• 🍑: #1 OSU v. #4 UTAH
• 🎉: #2 LSU v. #3 CLEM
• 🍬: #5 OU v. #6 UGA
• 🌹: #8 PSU v. #16 ORE
• 🍊: #7 UF v. NR UVA
• 👕: #9 BAY v. #15 MEM

Now that we're in full "ain't nobody played anybody" mode, it's a fact that schedules do matter. Case in point: @AuburnFootball is 9-3 and a really good football team, but the Tigers have also played 5 of the top 14 teams in the CFP rankings, three of those games away from home.

The Big Ten teams — except Minnesota who Ohio State didn’t play — are being insanely overvalued in the college football playoff rankings. All committee member ballots should have to be made public at end of year to make this transparent.
