On Monday, the Georgia Bulldogs released their official updated depth chart for this Saturday’s showdown with the rival Florida Gators in Jacksonville.
At quarterback, Jake Fromm is understandably listed at number one, with Stetson Bennett backing him up.
D’Andre Swift and Brian Herrien are listed as starting running backs, with Zamir White and James Cook as backups.
Tyler Simmons, George Pickens, Matt Landers, Lawrence Cager, Demetris Robertson, Kearis Jackson, and Dominick Blaylock are listed as receivers. The addition of Cager on the depth chart should be especially heartening for Dawg fans as there has been speculation as to whether not he will be able to go on Saturday.
Charlie Woerner is listed as the starting tight end, Andrew Thomas at left tackle, Solomon Kindley at left guard, Trey Hill at center, Cade Mays or Ben Cleveland at right guard, and Isaiah Wilson or Jamaree Salyer at right tackle.
On defense, the defensive tackle is listed as potentially being Tyler Clark or Devonte Wyatt, and the nose tackle as either Michael Barnett or Jordan Davis. Defensive end is listed as David Marshall or Malik Herring.
The starting linebackers are listed as Walter Grant or Jermaine Johnson, Azeez Ojulari, Tae Crowder, and Monty Rice.
Starting at left safety will be Richard LeCounte, and right safety will be JR Reed. Right cornerback will be DJ Daniel or Tyson Campbell, left will be Eric Stokes, and the nickel will be Mark Webb or Divaad Wilson.
On special teams, the kicker will be Rodrigo Blankenship, the punter will be Jake Camarda, long snapper will be Steven Nixon or Payne Walker, kickoff returner will be James Cook or Brian Herrien, and the punt return duties will come down to Tyler Simmons, Kearis Jackson, or Dominck Blaylock.
