MIAMI _ George Zimmerman, facing a charge of stalking, spoke to sheriff's investigators with the same belligerence he addressed private investigator David Warren in text messages and phone calls, according to court documents.
While the documents don't quote Zimmerman as threatening to feed anyone from the Seminole County Sheriff's Office to alligators, as he's accused of doing with Warren, it does quote Zimmerman repeatedly addressing a female sergeant with vulgarities.
Warren told the sheriff's office that Zimmerman flew into a phone rage when Warren tried to contact Zimmerman's family members about being interviewed for a documentary on the life and death of Trayvon Martin. While on neighborhood watch in Sanford, Zimmerman killed the unarmed Miami-Dade teenager in 2012 and was acquitted at trial of murder.
Between Dec. 16 and 25, court documents say, Zimmerman blew up Warren's phone with 55 phone calls, 67 text messages, 36 voice mails and 27 emails.
Sgt. Shannon Seiple, a 17-year department veteran who runs the Domestic Violence/Elder Services/Crisis Intervention Team, knows Zimmerman from previous interactions.
Seiple called him on Jan. 3 as another investigator listened.
After Seiple identified herself, Zimmerman said: "You f------ c---, what do you want!?" and "What are you calling me for, you f------ whore!?"
Zimmerman's stream of profanity continued to flow as Seiple told Zimmerman she was calling about Warren's report of unwanted communication.
After Seiple expressed disbelief at Zimmerman's language and questioned whether he remembered with whom he was speaking, he said: "You're the blonde f------ c--- who arrested me on Samantha!" and "You have been involved with me since that Martin kid."
Seminole County court records say "Samantha" is a reference to Zimmerman's 2013 arrest on aggravated assault with a weapon-domestic violence, battery-domestic violence and damaging property-criminal mischief. The arrest report says she told sheriff's deputies that she asked Zimmerman to leave their residence, he pointed a shotgun at her for a minute, pushed her and locked her out of the house. Deputies wrote they found Zimmerman in the house with items blocking the front door from the inside. Charges eventually were dropped.
Back to the Jan. 3 phone call and Zimmerman's answer when asked about his fusillade of phone calls and texts to Warren: "He contacted my uncle, but you guys don't want to help me with that!" followed by more profanities, as well as continuing to call Seiple vulgarities.
"I have the sheriff's number and I will be filing a complaint with him."
