Sam Gowland's faith in England beating Denmark paid off after he forked out £2,500 for a Euro 2020 final ticket BEFORE Wednesday's semi final.
The former Geordie Shore star, who originally shot to fame on Love Island in 2017, is a keen football fan and, earlier this week, revealed he'd paid out for a ticket for Sunday's big match at Wembley.
Sam took to Twitter on Wednesday afternoon to tell his legions of followers that he'd paid £2,500 for a ticket to see England against Italy, joking: "let’s just hope England do the job tonight otherwise do any Italians follow me on here."

After being asked how much he paid to get his hands on one, Sam, 25, then added: "Tickets are a fortune btw I paid £2.5k for my ticket needs must though , I think they’ll be 4+ if we win tonight"
Having paid a four figure sum for the privilege of being at Wembley on Sunday, Sam was probably more nervous than most watching England v Denmark, especially when the Danes went ahead in the first half courtesy of a Mikkel Damsgaard free kick.
An own goal levelled things up before half time, before England's victory was clinched by Harry Kane, after the skipper pounced on his penalty rebound to score the winner.
Celebrating with the rest of the country and looking ahead to the weekend, Sam returned to Twitter to react: "Gamble paid off !!!!! Let’s f**king have it Sunday come on England !!!!!!"
One of his followers quickly replied: "Can I be ur +1 please haha"
Sam was right with his prediction that ticket prices would shoot up after England won, with prices on online site Ticombo starting at £3,300 by Thursday morning.
