Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson gives birth to second son and tells fans her family is 'complete'

Marnie Simpson has told her millions of fans her family is 'complete' after giving birth to her second son.

Geordie Shore star Marnie and fiancé Casey Johnson welcomed their first child together, Rox, in November 2019, before announcing last year that they were expecting again. And Marnie, who shot to TV fame in 2013 when she joined cousin Sophie Kasaei on the MTV show, said she was convinced she was having another boy, before her and Casey found out the gender of their new baby.

Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: "I don’t feel it was that much of a surprise. I had a feeling I was going to be having another boy when I fell pregnant Even a psychic predicted it! I guess I always thought it was going to be a boy before I found out."

We’re completely in awe, our family is complete."

Marnie made the announcement just before midday on Wednesday and within minutes she'd been flooded with loads of congratulatory messages. One came from cousin Sophie, who posted: " I love him already our beautiful boy." Another Geordie Shore star, James Tindale reacted: " Congratulations @marns @caseycodyj," while soon to be married Holly Hagan told her: " Eeeekkkk love you all." And Charlotte Crosby, who is expecting her first child, wrote: "Wooooo."

Marnie, Sophie, Holly and Charlotte are all playing a key role in Geordie Shore's recently confirmed reunion series. On going back to the how that made her famous, Marnie said: "I’m so excited for this reunion – it’s something me and so many of the other cast members have been waiting for. I’m so intrigued to watch it all play out. I have no idea how it’s going to go or what’s going to happen but I’m so ready for it. Bring it on!”"
