People are loving a 'brilliant' travel hack to save you space in your suitcase.
Users on TikTok were left shocked when a viral video showed off the 'right' way to pack a suitcase, which should help you save money. Instead of placing your case flat on the floor, as most of us do, this hack recommends having the case upright.
This allows you to stack your clothes and other items upright, so you can easily see what you've packed, and makes it easier to squeeze things together to free up more space. The video has gone viral on TikTok, receiving more than 1.4 million likes and thousands of comments.

In the now viral video, user @thecollectorskut shared footage of them packing an upright suitcase and said: "How old were you when you found out how to pack your luggage? Lol" and in the caption said: "When you've been packing you luggage sideways this whole time! Try this!".
People were shocked at the revelation in the comments. One person said: "Brilliant" and another said: "What?! That is genius! So I guess that means I was today years old when I learned this", but some ran into issues the airport, as one person said: "I did this it was perfectly packed I fit so much but when I got to the airport it weight more than what it supposed to".
Others had other tips to save space in your case. One person said: "…..Ooorrrrr packing cubes for better space efficiency??" and another said: "It’s all about the packing cubes".
Some weren't convinced by the hack, as one person said: "You could literally do the same thing with the luggage laying flat..." and another said: "You can do the same thing with it laying flat lol".
