Morgan Less had no idea she'd get such an overwhelming response to a simple good deed.
The student knows full well how stressful finding a glamorous prom dress can be, and was compelled to do her bit to help others who might not be able to afford their own gown.
Determined to spread some cheer (and a whole lot of sparkle) the 21-year-old took to Facebook offering to donate her two gorgeous dresses to someone in need - without costing them a penny.
Morgan, from Glasgow, was blown way by the reaction of Glaswegians, who shared her post nearly 200 times.
Her post read: "As prom is coming up soon I’m looking to give away both my dresses to someone who is in need of a dress.
"I’m looking to give them away for free! If you would rather not comment on this post feel free to message me and it doesn’t go past me who I’ve given it away too."
One of the dresses, which both cost nearly £100 has already been snapped up - but her sparkling pink gown is still looking for a home.
She told Glasgow Live: "It was my 21st birthday party last week and I bought two dresses and decided I liked a different dress.
"I just thought it would be nice to give them away to someone who isn’t as fortunate and someone who can get the use out of the dresses.
"The response has been really good. I've managed to get rid of my champagne coloured dress. So many people have been interested in both dresses."
