General election 2019: Boris Johnson's obscene Jeremy Corbyn insult over Brexit

Boris Johnson will today launch a scathing attack on Jeremy Corbyn by suggesting a Labour government would result in more 'masturbation' over Brexit .

The Prime Minister will finally today break his cover on the election trail after only holding limited photo opportunities recently.

During the speech at an electric vehicle manufacturer in the West Midlands, Mr Johnson will say a Labour government would only bring "more political self-obsession" and "onanism"- a posh word for masturbation - from Parliament.

A Labour source called Mr Johnson's insults as "obscure" and "crude".

"We are not bothered by Mr Johnson's obscure, crude insults because we've got our eyes on the prize - real change for the many, not the few," the source told The i .

The Prime Minister was previously criticised for using vulgar language when he claimed that money was being "spaffed up the wall" on historic sexual abuse investigations.

His address today will be his first major campaign speech.

In it, he will also claim the Tories can get the UK "out of the rut" - and finally completing Britain’s departure from the European Union.

The 55-year-old will promise a majority Conservative government will "end the groundhoggery of Brexit".

"We can honour the wishes of the people, or else we can waste more time, at the cost of a billion pounds per month, and have two more referendums, one on Scotland and one on the EU – an expense of spirit and a waste of shame, more political self-obsession and onanism," Mr Johnson will argue today.

"The UK is admired and respected around the world but people are baffled by our debate on Brexit and they cannot understand how this great country can squander so much time and energy on this question and how we can be so hesitant about our future.

"If we can get a working majority, we can get Parliament working for you, we can get out of the rut. We can end the groundhoggery of Brexit."

Jeremy Corbyn meanwhile is campaigning in Scotland today.

The Labour leader has previously vowed to deliver "massive investment" in Scotland if his party wins the General Election .
