Gemma Collins splashed the cash on lavish Easter bash including an egg costing £100

Gemma Collins clearly enjoyed her Easter weekend as she revealed she splashed the cash on a luxurious bash, as well as treating herself to a £100 chocolate egg.

The former TOWIE star, 40, admitted on her latest podcast that she had an 'incredible' time and pulled out all the stops to make up for not being able to celebrate Christmas properly, due to Covid and her dad being extremely ill.

Speaking about her fun-filled day, she said on her BBC Radio 1 podcast : "It was incredible for me.

"My dad was so sick at Christmas. It was very touch and go whether he would be alive to celebrate Easter, so I went totally over the top GC style."

Describing the decorations used for the Covid-safe party at her brand-new house, she continued: "I had so many flowers in my house.

"The best food, I bought fancy egg cups and I bought an Easter egg that was £100, because we couldn't celebrate Christmas I went so over the top."

The reality TV star and self-proclaimed diva said she will never forget the memories made at her family party.

"It was so nice to see my brother in law , my sister the children It just was incredible," she added.

"Seeing my dad sitting there eating his hot cross bun is a memory I will treasure forever."

Gem catered for everyone's needs at the special bash as she had a personalised Easter egg hunt laid out in her garden for her nieces and nephews.

She also made sure there were plenty of posh snacks for the adults at the party, as her PR friend helped Gem find the perfect grub.

The food was complete with antipasto plates and a scrumptious roast.

The TV star posted snaps from her day on Instagram, and her mum and dad could be seen having fun.

It comes after Gemma's parents fell ill with the coronavirus, which saw her dad 'fighting for his life'.

Thankfully, her parents have recovered and are happy and healthy, which meant they could attend their daughter's incredible party.
