Gemma Collins is reportedly in talks to appear on the new Celebrity X Factor.
The 38-year-old is believed to have showcased her vocal ability to show bosses during discussions.
“We want big and exciting stars and The GC is popular and we reckon she makes entertaining viewing. More important, she can sing,” a show source told the Daily Star.
“Simon Cowell has handled many divas over the years with the likes of Sharon Osbourne and Mel B, so we reckon he will be able to deal with this Essex one.”

The reports come after Collins was slammed for “standing still” during her return to the Dancing On Ice final on Sunday night.
The reality TV star moved her shoulders to Beyonce’s Crazy in Love before dropping to her knees and into the splits. She finished by throwing one arm in the air.
The moves failed to go down well with viewers who sarcastically mocked her “heart-stopping skating skills.”
Her boyfriend James Argent was blasted by Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain for fat shaming the star after she dumped him over a snoring video.
Argent admitted the dig was “pot kettle black” after Morgan said he “wasn’t exactly in a position to lecture anybody about their weight”.
He also revealed the pair are “fine” and have patched things up following a romantic trip to Paris.
