Gary Neville's three-word response as VAR comes to Arsenal's rescue vs Norwich

Former Manchester United star Gary Neville has offered a brief and brutal verdict on the decision to allow Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to retake a penalty at Norwich City.

Arsenal fell behind thanks to Teemu Pukki's opener in the 21st minute but were handed a penalty just eight minutes later.

Aubameyang had his penalty saved by Tim Krul, only for the Gunners to earn a reprieve thanks to a VAR call of encroachment which allowed the forward another chance from 12 yards out.

Sky Sports pundit Neville took to social media to slam the decision by the officials.

He tweeted: "That's a disgrace!"

Former Everton and Manchester United player Louis Saha was in the studio for the clash and added his thoughts.

Saha told Sky Sports: "Those are the rules and you like to see that in the game. It's a really hard situation but this is football."

Arsenal equalised through Aubameyang at the second time of asking as he fired home the penalty but the Gunners were not level for long.

Todd Cantwell put the hosts back in front in first-half injury time as Arsenal fell behind once again in Freddie Ljungberg's first match in charge on an interim basis.

However, Aubameyang drew Arsenal level once again before the hour mark as he netted from close range.
