Gary Neville makes demand to Manchester United players following poor performances

Gary Neville has urged Manchester United's players to have a meeting without staff to address their poor performances.

Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo joined the club in the summer, but United have struggled for form this term.

Although United beat Crystal Palace and Norwich in Ralf Rangnick's first two games in charge of the club, they are yet to enjoy a managerial bounce in terms of performances on the pitch and Monday's 1-1 draw against Newcastle was a poor result.

Neville expressed concerns over the mentality of the Reds' players following that draw at St.James' Park and reports have now emerged suggesting there are cliques within the dressing room.

Neville has taken to social media to respond to that report and he's suggested United's players need to summon a meeting.

"On United I’m seeing reports of dressing room dissatisfaction this morning," Neville wrote.

"Something wasn’t right vs Norwich and certainly not vs Newcastle. Still, 4 pts from those games is not a disaster considering the performance levels. Have a meeting (without staff) and sort it out!

"Performances haven’t been good for months, but the body language in the last 2 games (highlighted by RR post-Norwich) has been woeful!!"
