Leeds United certainly know how to entertain and they have done that to perfection through the first two weeks of the 2020/21 Premier League season.
The Whites lost in dramatic fashion 4-3 to reigning champions Liverpool last week at Anfield and again enjoyed a thrilling contest in their second match of the campaign, something which led to Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker tweeting about the Whites.
Helder Costa opened the scoring for the home side but Alexander Mitrovic equalised from the penalty spot after Robin Koch fouled Joe Bryan.
Bryan then tripped up Patrick Bamford to give away a penalty, with Mateusz Klich converting the penalty kick.
Bamford and Costa added goals in the second half to give Leeds a 4-1 lead before Lineker made a Match of the Day joke about the Whites.
He tweeted: "Great stuff from @LUFC and they’re 4-1 up. There seems a real desire this season not to be on last on @BBCMOTD."
Lineker added a thumbs up emoji in the tweet and he would soon be tweeting about the game shortly after when Fulham hit Leeds with a quickfire double.
Mitrovic's second and a goal for Bobby Decordova-Reid made it only 4-3 to Leeds with just under half an hour remaining.
"This is getting silly. 4-3 now and over 20 minutes to go," Lineker tweeted once more.
But the good news for fans is that Marcelo Bielsa's men held on for their first points of the season.
