"He's here!

“Garth Brooks has arrived on Irish soil (well, concrete actually) ahead of his 5 concerts in Dublin's Croke Park over the next two weekends.

“We're ready for The Dance…”

The Friends in Low Places singer will kick off his five historic nights at the capital’s GAA headquarters this weekend with sold out shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

He will go on to perform two more shows next week, on September 16 and 17 due to popular demand.

The countdown is on nationwide as ticket holders get set to make their way from all corners of the country to travel to Croker for the gigs.

The sold-out gigs will see 400,000 fans descend on Drumcondra to watch the country music superstar finally in action.

And with just days to go, concert promoters have issued information and guidance to concertgoers.

A spokesperson said: “Garth Brooks will play five sold out shows so please check your tickets in advance to ensure you are attending on the correct date.”

They warned: “Ticketholders will only be admitted to their ticketed date.”

Organisers have said the five gigs will be an “extravaganza” and also warned concert-goers to prepare their journey to and from Croke Park in advance.

Gates will open at 5pm and the show is due to start at 7.30pm.

A curfew of 10.30pm will be in place.

It was confirmed there will be no support act any of the nights.

Early queuing will not be permitted in the streets around the venue.
