Gardai seize €100,000 of cannabis in Ballyleague, Co Roscommon

Gardai have seized cannabis worth €100,000 in Co Roscommon.

The haul was discovered in Ballyleague, near the border with Longford on Friday as part of an ongoing investigation.

A spokesperson said: "As part of ongoing investigations into the sale and supply of drugs in the Roscommon area, Gardaí seized €100,000 of suspected cannabis (pending analysis) on Friday, 29th November 2019.

"No arrests have been made."
