Gardai launch investigation as stolen cars set on fire in Dublin 15

An investigation has been launched after three stolen cars were found on fire in a Dublin suburb.

Emergency services attended the scene in the Dublin 15 area overnight.

Dublin Fire Brigade crews from Blanchardstown extinguished the partially burnt out vehicles over a 90 minute period.

A garda spokeswoman told the Irish Mirror it's understood the cars were stolen from the West Dublin area in recent days.

She added: "Gardaí are investigating the discovery of three vehicles partially burnt out in the Dublin 15 area.

"No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing."
