Gardai launch investigation after gunshot fired in Bray

Gardai are investigating are the discharge of firearm which yesterday in Bray.

The incident happened shortly before 6pm in a property on the Vevay Road, when an unidentified male is believed to have fired a gunshot. It is understood that no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

Gardai preserved the scene, and a technical examination was carried out. No arrests have been made.

Gardai are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward. A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí in Bray are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward, including any road users who may have video footage.

"Gardaí can be contacted at Bray Garda station on 01 666 5300, the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station."
