'Game has gone' - Nottingham Forest fans rage over Football Association charge

Nottingham Forest have been fined £5,000 by the Football Association for failing to control their players during the recent goalless draw with  Watford.

The charge relates to the reaction of the Forest players following a tackle by Watford's Nathaniel Chalobah on Harry Arter for which boss Chris Hughton said merited a red card.

Chalobah had already been booked, but referee David Webb declined to take further action.

Forest's players were furious at the decision and have now been hit in the pocket as a result.

But the FA's decision has not gone down well with Forest fans who have blasted the authorities for punishing the Reds.

We took to Twitter to see what they had to say.

Paul Reeve: "Maybe they should fine refs for being absolutely useless with their decision making at times!"

Simon Gregory: "The club has been fined for showing passion."

Thicky Meo:   "Should be fined every week for the rubbish they are making me watch."

Homemade Prototype: "Goodbye football its been emotional."

Jessica: "Wow."

Matt: "Can we fine the FA for employing incompetent referees?"

Hannah: "We’re in 21st and four points off bottom, give us a break."

What do you think to Forest's fine? Harsh or fair?
