The Game Awards nominees have been announced for 2021 and will be announced live from Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles.
With 30 categories and over 80 unique games to vote on, there's plenty of pickings for this year's awards.
The annual Game Awards allows members of the public to have their say in what games they think topped in their respective categories.
While the public doesn't completely decide the winner, they have a significant influence on the outcome.
The Game Awards website states: "Winners are determined by a blended vote between the voting jury (90%) and public fan voting (10%).
"Fans can vote for their favorite games on TheGameAwards.com and also via social media platforms in select categories. In China fans can vote on the winners via Bilibili. Fan voting closes on Wednesday, December 8 at 6 pm PT."

The winners will be announced on Thursday, December 9.
